The information provided below is about some of the calls officers responded to over the last twenty-four (24) hours. Most narratives represent early and preliminary information that was gathered from those in the field who were actively working the cases. In many instances, facts and circumstances, even the type of crime listed, can change as the investigation unfolds.
From 6:00 a.m. on 6/17/2025 through 6:00 a.m. on 6/18/2025, MPD received 452 calls for service. This number does not include parking complaints or 911 misdials. A breakdown of the calls for service per district is as follows: Central (77),East (99), Midtown (67), North (95), South (47), West (51), and Other (16). "Other" is used for calls that either do not have a sector or the sector is not in the City. This would be used in the case of one of our officers assisting another law enforcement agency.

Central/Missing Adult – 11:07am: A 44-year-old male subject was reported as missing. Attempt to locate aired. Areas checked. The subject was listed as missing in the appropriate databases. *Subject located safe.
North/Death Investigation – 12:13pm: Officers responded to a report of a deceased subject (38-year-old male). Medical Examiner's office responded. Nothing suspicious identified.
Central/Adult Arrested Person – 4:46pm: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 45-year-old male subject. The subject was not cooperative with officers. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct (3 counts), threats to law enforcement (4 counts), and resisting.
East/Domestic Disturbance – 5:19pm: An officer observed a driver/vehicle come out of driveway at a high rate of speed over a curb. Contact made with two subjects, one of whom had visible injuries. A 32-year-old male subject was arrested for 2nd degree reckless endangering safety.
South/Assist Law Enforcement – 8:13pm: Fitchburg PD aired that they were engaged in a foot pursuit. The subject (28-year-old male) was observed getting into a vehicle, later determined to be stolen. MPD responded to assist. The subject was observed and a 2nd foot pursuit took place. The subject was apprehended. MPD charged the subject with resisting. Fitchburg PD has the lead on this investigation with additional charges.
East/Crash – 8:17pm: Officers responded to a report of a crash on the beltline where a motorcyclist (27-year-old female) was reportedly driving at a high rate of speed when they crashed into the back of a boat that was being pulled on a trailer. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Suspected drugs were located. The subject was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and left in the care of medical staff. Information was obtained that the subject mentioned recently about wanting to crash her motorcycle into something.
West/PNB – 11:36pm: Officers responded to a report of a pulseless non-breathing subject (55-year-old male). The subject was revived and transported to a local hospital. Subject in serious condition and the Medical Examiner's office is plugged in. Evidence of drug use. Nothing suspicious identified at this time.

East/Disturbance – 2:23am: Officers responded to a disturbance involving a 26-year-old female subject. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, battery, resisting, obstructing, and issued citations for trespass/trespass to vehicle.
